I have this fear that my thoughts will become abnormal, latest obsession that is gripping my mind is that, I'll get opposite thoughts. For example, if I'm using the word best, automatically it's opposite worst comes to my head...this happens with a lot a words and I try to avoid it. Because i feel that ultimately it will become a habit and my mind will mess up and always remain confused as to what to think. I was trying to focus on the present, but now my mind is making up reverse thoughts and I feel I will never be able to pay attention to reality because it'll become a habit and I'll go crazy.

Hey realANA, I had those feeling at one time and my major ocd symptoms come down to Pure O and real event still. I think your goal of remaining in the moment is good. Also just try to live with the possibility of thinking the opposite even if it’s what you fear as that will expose you to those thoughts and ultimately hopefully help to make your mind get bored of them which is the goal of erp. Sorry if this is all stuff you know already or have heard. Good luck.
