Struggling with copd

I don t have severe Copd but I went into town today and just got really uncomfortable with my breathing . It got me down and scared and am back home now . Does anyone know breathing exercises? I just feel scared to do something suddenly as it makes me uncomfortable (breathless). Sorry.
