MF and Travel Insurance

Trying to look ahead. I’m sure this has been asked before. Any suggestions about travel insurance, of cause when it’s safe to do so

I’ve used Medical insurance 4 you. It’s hard to find one. They’ve changed their quite system. They will input your details and give you the best company. They are more like brokers now

When I first got ET it was 1991 I was not sure what is was so when I first got my travel insurance with my Bank I just put down Essential Thrombocythemia. It was never questioned and I assumed they had looked it up and were ok with it! Since then I still put that down but as I have got older I have other things wrong with me including under active thyroid which they accepted. I had a heart attack in 2018 with two stents fitted and asthma. They accepted the heart attack as they were happy with the medication I was on but of all things they weren’t happy with was asthma which I control with inhalers.

Unbelievable, count your lucky stars, I have awful trouble trying to get travel insurance . My bank won’t cover it or stroke or high cholesterol !! So I take out a 2nd the cheapest to cover all those conditions
