Glad thereā€™s no side effects for you. Iā€™ve been wondering how you got it so early? Iā€™m very much like you in terms of numbers and conditions only 10 years older. And as far as I know I am WAY down the list for a vaccine. My GP did not know if ET qualifies as ā€œunderlying conditionā€ Does anyone know how we are supposed to be classified? Me: ET, jak2, 600+ count a few months ago 75 mg aspirin daily, no other symptoms really. Would love to know how others are getting on with the vaccines.

Hello, we are classified as no 4 on the list because MPNā€™s are classed as blood cancer. Maz popped something up a week or so ago confirming this. Iā€™m not sure all parts of the country are adhering to this guidance but Iā€™m 44 and had my vaccine in Cardiff yesterday and have a date in April for my second jab.

Thank you! Iā€™ve been wondering about that and not been able to find any clarification. Iā€™ll get on to my GP and see if they know when I can have mine. Feel a bit better now. :)

If your doctor argues that your condition isnā€™t cancer then kindly remind them that MPN was classified as a cancer by the WHO in 2008. There are so many doctors who wonā€™t acknowledge it. Good luck.

Your GP should be able to see on your notes as I got confirmation that I was in group 4 but no appointment so far

I think Iā€™ll have to do what they say not to and ask. I guess itā€™s the GP that decides which of the patients should go where?

Thank you again! Iā€™m still quite new to all this. Think Iā€™ve been scared to actually look into it properly..
