I had my 4th jab on Tuesday 3 months after my third one ☝️ and have felt so ill with the side effects I just wonder if anyone else have had the same problem and how long it took to get over it.

I had my 4th last week and was very unwell for 48 hours. Flu like symptoms, night sweats and nausea - paracetamol helped. Odd as only a half dose of Moderna obviously for a booster and although the full dose with 3rd primary in October did give me acute fatigue for 12 hours it wasn't anything like this. It did clear though so hope you're feeling better.

Glad you're feeling better. We seem to have had bad luck and so hopefully any future ones will be easier.

Sorry to hear this. I’ve just had my 4th jab and was once again floored by it. Very unwell with chills and fever as well as just feeling rotten. I posted a few weeks ago about previous reactions and it’s thought that it might be because of taking interferon that boosts immune response to medication. I have an appointment with my Haematologist next week and will raise this as it’s quite an extreme reaction (I also had it to the flu & pneumonia vaccine) and it’s depressing to think I’ll be that ill each time I need a vaccine for anything. Take care x

Sorry to hear that. I do hope you have reported your adverse reaction to the MHRA, as they are very keen to learn more about these. They rely on people reporting to get a better understanding of everything.coronavirus-yellowcard.mhra...

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Hi. I had my 4 th jab on Wednesday. Next day felt unwell with chills, headache, very tired. The other 3 jabs prior to that, no side effects at all. Hope you’re feeling better now. I’m wondering how many more jabs will we have to have!!

Yes that is my concern as I would hate to think I had to suffer the way I have done again thank you for your reply

I had my fourth dose yesterday. Previously, all three vaccines were Pfizer and this time I got Moderna and today I feel really rough (I ache all over and have a runny nose and a head full of cotton wool!). The nurse explained to me yesterday that it is advantageous to have a different "booster" (fourth vaccine) as it ups the protection but she warned me that I would likely feel poorly.

I had my booster (4th dose.) That’s 2 AstraZeneca and 2 Pfizer. My GP ‘s receptionist arranged for me to go to the local vaccination centre as a “walk-in,” on Saturday as she was not able to book an appointment. She met me at the door, remembered me from last time, and reassured me that my GP was already there in case I got angina again.

No problem this time as I wasn’t standing out in the cold for half an hour, in fact there were no queues this time.

The nurse was very good and checked for blood before pressing the plunger of the syringe.

My arm ached a bit for three days and I have been more fatigued even than usual, nodding off over my book.
