Hi. Yes. I'm guessing your experience has been due to the pneumonia jab.
I was lucky enough to receive my pneumonia jab alone because the flu one hadn't arrived yet. My experience of that was the same as yours plus the inability to use the arm in which I had received the injection. I was in agony, mainly in my arm, which I could no longer lift or use due to the immense pain in the muscles. It took a week to return to my new normal. My arm had swollen up and my eyes itched.
I decided that the severe reaction was probably as a result of being on Pegasys. I don't know if I was correct but I should have had my flu jab on Saturday but couldn't face it because I do my Pegasys injection on Friday nights and didn't want to take the chance. I am now fine, so you probably have no need to worry and Im now protected for about 15 years (or 5 for us). 'Always look on the bright side of life... ' All the very best. Penelope
Thank you. the pneumonia symptoms wore off after a week and haven't returned but almost everything was on the leaflet I was given at the time under side-effects. I hadn't expected ALL of them though, as I'm now used to ignoring that list and waiting to see what happens before referring to the warnings! Hope you're soon back to norms. ATB
