Starting to feel on edge

My stepson i feel is going to cause us behavioural problems tonight, i am dreading this and am starting to feel anxious and very tight if that makes sense, trying to control my breathing but not working. Any advice please?

If I were you I would take myself to a quiet place and practice some more deep breathing or go for a walk. You are making yourself anxious over something that may not happen, as we all do !!!Know the feeling all too well. I do hope your evening turns out ok.

I feel for you that your stepson was going to cause you behavioural problems, it sounds as though he is a handful. Is he a child or an adult? I'm presuming he is an adult in which case why isn't he behaving like one and considering your needs as well as his own? Sue
