Got my results

Posted this in the comments of my original post but I’ll make a proper post to let you all know as well

Hi everyone I just got my results for my blood test. My GP said that my White blood cell count and CRP has gone done which means the infection is starting to leave my body which is good. But if that’s the case then idk I still feel so sick and weak. I mentioned allergies to her and she doesn’t think that’s the cause but she said there’s not harm going on antihistamines for a few weeks to see if it helps. She said that over the next 2-3 weeks the infection should start to leave my body even more so she said in about 3 weeks to come back and get another blood test to check my white blood cell count to see if it’s gone done further. I didn’t think I should mention a fungal infection cause I was worried if I mentioned too many things at once she’d say Im a hypochondriac or something. Anyways if it was fungal/ yeast infection I don’t think the antibiotics would’ve helped to reduce it. I might go in and ask if I can get my vitamin levels checked before I get my next blood test done and I’ll probably still order a thyroid test online just to make sure those things are ok. If anyone has any other things to suggest that I should get tested for feel free to lmk. Thanks for all your comments it’s made me feel less alone while I go through this.

Hello Peachy

You have had your blood results and it seems you are slowly getting better, More bloods, will indicate how your white blood cell count is improving.

When it come to vits try a multi vit initially an over counter one should be ok initially to see if that will help you. I take B12 injections and D4 as well to help with my joint damage and tone up my skin. I need to sit in the sunshine to get the benefit vit D,

I hope all will eventually sort for you and you will let much better soon

I’m probably going to go in to the GP again in a few weeks to ask them if I could have another blood test to test my vitamin levels like B12, vit D and a few other ones.

I probably don’t go out in the sun as much as I should anymore but especially since this pandemic. So I probably am Vit D deficient.

I’ve also been told by someone in another group to get a private thyroid test online to check my T4 and T3 levels since apparently my TSH was high in the blood test I had a few weeks back which the GP didn’t tell me

I you feel the need for a Thyroid Test, you could ask your Doctor and explain, or go down the private pathway. I have no idea how much they cost
