Hi I’m new here I’m 26 from Scotland and suffer from bipolar and anxiety. Looking to make friends with people who understand as I feel like I’m completely alone with this no one in my life really understands. My partner and mum and dad thinks my meds are a miracle cure and I’m not suffering anymore. When the see me looking the least bit unwell they get so stressed and just don’t understand it’s something that will never just disappear so I just put on a smile now. It’s just exhausting trying to keep up a facade

One of the main problems in life we have is not being yourself, because of the expectations of others.

You are twenty six, you have a Partner, are you still living at home ??. If so you need to possibly move on and live your life the way you wish. If you have a Partner, be together, you never know a person until the front door of your home is locked. You are alone together, it can really open your eyes, mostly in good ways, I think ?.

With medications there is no magic bullet, the magic bullet is yourself, with help from your medications and CBT
