Sertraline and vivid dreams

why do I have awful dreams taking Sertraline and is any other medication for anxiety the same horrid dreams. Is there anyone out that can help with this problem

I had this same problem taking Remeron an antidepressant. Sertraline is also an anti depressant this tends to happen to some people taking anti depressants. I ended up getting off the med and got on the anxiety med Clonazepam it calmed the dreams it does it by slowing the nervous system it’s a good drug but can be addictive if taken too long but it may help until u find a working antidepressant. I heard abilify was amazing. Talk to a doctor.

Strange. I’m on Sertaline 50mg. No stranger dreams than normal!
