It's time and hopefully people around you to help with the burden of the pain. I hope you have that in your life. I'm sorry for you loss.

Hello Daz

The main way is by talking out your grief with family members or friends who knew the person and will hopefully relate to your feelings and theirs. Generally one of the main reasons people have a Wake is to start the grieving process. Generally also talking about the person who has passed over remembering their life, warts and all will also have, reliving memories of past will help you move on

It helps to know that other people understand. I lost my Mum a few years ago and my Dad three months ago. I’m struggling quite a bit with both. I am attending a group for people who are grieving - it’s sponsored by a local funeral directors. Might be worth seeing if something similar runs in your area. Sorry for your loss x

I’m so sorry for your loss, i feel your pain, i have a 10 year old cat who is like a child to me, people keep on saying “Oh he is so old!!! Prepare yourself “ and just the thought of him passing away makes me cry, like i legit want to die before he does.

I’m sending you lots of love and patience❤️

Hi Daz I feel your pain, as I've had losses and it still hurts today, talk to someone about how your feeling and that may help you a bit, but keep talking don't bottle things up x

I personally dont think u get over a loss..u just learn to live and deal with it easier.U just put them in another place in ur heart.

Grieving...no time limit..do it at ur own speed n own way n how u r feeling.

Others will say...get over it already..i say myob ill grieve as long as i need to.

Personally getting a helium balloon, writing on it in perm marker ur feelings n releasing into air outside to skies above helped me years after my grandparents passed.Still havent done one for my dog who passed last August, but im not ready yet.
