Going back on my Antidepressants after giving birth.

Hi, I was on a low dose of antidepressants but came off them while I was pregnant.. My baby is now 4 months old and I feel like I need to go back on them, I have some left over that I didn’t use so could I start re-taking them without asking my doctor or do I need to contact them first??

You need to consider if over time you need to check and make sure the drug will now work for you before you go back on the medication. Take into consideration how old those tablets are, again your GP may want to give a different medication
