I’ve been feeling heavy waves of dysphoria lately- I know a lot of it is generalized unhappiness with my current status in life. I’m unhappy with my living situation & just location in general. I’m saving to move out but I’m also scared that if I don’t go to school for something soon and stay here longer than planned I’ll regret it and maybe not have another chance to in the future ? What do I know tho ?? I just feel a lot of self doubt and I’m questioning why any of it’s worth it. We all die in the end so what’s the point honestly ???

Dysphoria yay 🙄
We all die anyway, but our time here now matters. Can you handle being where you are now so you can go to school? Would the education be something helpful for your future?
You're in my thoughts
Stay in the light
Hi Mimette and thank you for your post. This sounds very difficult for you. Have you spoken to your doctor about how you are feeling, as he/she will be able to help and support you. It is more difficult to make big decisions when we are feeling unwell, so please seek some help from your GP. Also you have identified the reason why you are so unhappy and what you may like to do to address this. This is very positive. Perhaps begin by making a list of the things you would like to achieve and work towards them by taking small steps. It sounds like some careers advice may help you. Your local college may be able to offer this, or suggest an organisation that could support you. Are any members able to help Mimette, please? Thank you and best wishes.

I do not know if you are under sixteen, still at school or now at college.
We all die sometimes however I do not know how old you are, given that you need to consider your needs and expectations in life. For example you may be at college if so you must be planning your future and having ideas what sort of work experience you wish to enter.
Remember when we are you we generally have dreams and expectations, regards travel, employment and getting married, having children. You are just beginning to enter that pathway and have no need to think of death. It comes when it comes we live our lives as positive as possible, I do understand however the younger generations coming up to adulthood have a greater chance of reaching one hundred years old, also working well into their seventies, so enjoy
If your worries are really concerning you talk to your GP and explain how you are feeling.
Life is for living, move on and enjoy you have many years to experience what is awaiting you in the future.
Live and enjoy
