Been suffering from depression, anxiety, panic attacks for the last 10 yrs or so, not really dealt with it. My life has no meaning anymore and I struggle to go out of the house in case I fall. I also have a sever disability to add to my problems ( if I don't have enough to contend with already).
Getting a Mental Health assessment Tomorrow with my GP a telephone consultation, as I suffer from agoraphobia. Not sure what to say as I've never had one of those b4. Been ashamed of my mental illness and been trying to hide it from people as people judge you.
Can you please tell me what to expect as I'm scared I'm going to fail getting my point accross

Do an online search about what to tell your doctor about your mental health. Perhaps you could get a list together. It might help you with things you might not think of to say. Best of luck to you.
May I suggest maybe writing stuff down ahead of time.For me.. with several head injuries n etc...it puts les stress on me especially talking with others on the phone or even in person. Be you.. and honest.. a good GP will see the real u and honesty in ur heartfelt words. Wishing u much luck tomorrow.
Just tell the truth - all the worries and fears you have had. All your problems.
Make a written list of questions you may have and if needed a list of symptoms and concerns you have this should help you with your phone appointment.
It works for me when I wish to address my health concerns.
