Removal of a recent post to community: Under age user.

Hi Everyone,

I am posting this because we regretfully had to remove a recent post as the new member was underage and implied the need for professional or medical help. This information is in our T&C's and Community Guidelines:

Terms & Conditions: Re age eligibility Section 2

‘Children under the age of 16 are prohibited from creating an account and becoming a member of HealthUnlocked. In registering as a member you are acknowledging that you are aged 16 or above.’ healthunlocked.com/policies...)

We have contacted the member with advice and contact details for services that can provide the appropriate level of advice to get through their situation. There are other age-appropriate support sites such as Childline: childline.org.uk/ Tel:[phone]

From the bottom of our heart we wish them well from the whole community and hope that they can get through this situation as quickly as possible.

Thank you to those members who brought this to our attention, and who tried to offer support to this person.

Thanks for the info about childline. It's good that they have somewhere to go. I know if i'd have known about a number like that when I was a child I would have phoned it and possibly spared myself some of the misery that I was put through throughout my life. Luckily I'm a lot better right now. x

Hi it would be handy to leave there name up or post even but lock it that way others know who it was or why and can be aware of others.

Plus anyone joining underage can be we are aware of them!

As for one i don't really know who it was so if get others likewise not seen to know to report.
