Hi.
It should tell you on the information leaflet inside the med box.
Usually with anti depressants the answer is no, I have found, because anti depressants and alcohol do not mix well.
I can remember a long time ago, being on venlafaxine and drinking and the way it affected me personally was not good, I became intoxicated much quicker and as I recall the next day I felt so bad, really depressed and in a dark place. We are all different in how we are affected by this sort of thing, therefore really only your gp should advise.
I wish you well x
i have a few beers every couple of weeks and for days later I'm all over the place mentally.i take mirtazapine so different from you.if you do drink just be careful space out your drinks and eat in between.
Well I am on 150 mgs a day of sertraline and I drink alcohol. Ok not to access but why not? It never makes me go loopy or anything and I am aware that it is an antidepressant so I don't drink much if feeling unhappy. x
