Hello Subs1,

Welcome to our supportive community. Hopefully you will find folks here are only too willing to come alongside you and share from their personal journeys and experiences. You are obviously having a difficult time right now. Your self judgement is very damning! Also, I doubt very much that you have so much power over people that just being around you causes them harm. We all have choices both to pursue the light or the dark inside us and in the world around us. It is not simply black and white. Negative energy, can drag us down, and affect those around us, and conversely positivity lifts us up. Maybe it's time to seek some professional medical/mental health advice and input to help you address your low mood and low self-esteem.

Do check out our Pinned Post section for free mental health guides, international crisis support helplines etc.

Keep in touch! Ok folks what can you suggest to help this new member?

Best wishes,

MAS Nurse

Hello Subs

We are in the UK and the Evil Eye is not understood in the same way, when I was at work we would explain someone was jinxed, and some people would prefer not to work with that person. Thankfully we do not here these explanations any more and if someone says your jinxed it can be taken as a joke. Many years ago I was travelling I picked up a courde with a face and on its tummy it had a large eye with a black line drawn through the eye representation. I was supposed to turn the curse of an evil eye and to be honest the item now is still in our display cabinet.

It can be difficult if this is part of your belief and we need to understand that, In the UK you can purchase pendants in some ethnic shops although I have not seen any pendants for a long time, you may know where to get a pendant that turns the evil eye away from you to effect the person who has effected your confidence.

What I would suggest is you need to boost your confidence in your own life and understand you are not jinxed. you seems so low I would advise you discuss your fears with your GP.

Your confidence needs to be encouraged and you need to move on, Some people will not understand your concerns, they may be very real to you. Be seen by your GP

Hi I don't know what country you are from but in the Western World we don't believe in the evil eye. It sounds like people just want to have a go at you so please don't listen to them. x

The "evil eye" is used to protect against evil and negativity from people. I'd say take it as a compliment.

Tell your friends to read a book, or at least use Google. So they can at least have their facts straight. Peace

No...you do not...only that which you create yourself... I don't know where you got this idea but this is something you need to get over... If 'bad things' happen when you are around it is because of THEIR beliefs--not yours. I hope for your own sake that you are willing to get professional help with this...with a good therapist... If you are still in highschool, maybe you could talk with a counselor... First of all, you have to WANT to solve this problem...and if you do, you CAN solve it! Best wishes to you.
