I’ve been struggling with my bipolar disorder. Anxiety. And depression. I feel like I haven’t accepted that I have a mental illness yet. I’ve been in an out of therapy for the last 5 years. I just need ideas on how to cope better? Suggestions would be much appreciated.

Best ways to deal with depression
Hi Spud,
You already have the insight needed to understand that a mental health problem is taking place. The process of acceptance of a mental health problem includes thinking about the illness itself. Symptoms can get in the way of thinking clearly about what is happening, and they could be lessened through treatment in therapy. Acceptance is a process that can’t and shouldn’t be done alone.
Here's a couple of links for you to read more about the acceptance issue.

You need a doctor to create a new treatment plan for the current situation. Ideally, it should be someone you have previously seen. If this is not possible, it's no big deal to start over again, just takes a little longer to take a history. To get the most out of this appointment, book a longer than usual session and take some of your history down in writing.
Aside from some talking therapy and medication, there a so many self-help ideas to assist you in day to day coping. Dr Google can help you find some that you can try, such as meditation, music play lists, pilates or yoga etc.
