Are you feeling low because you've not achieved what you set out to do.
Perhaps you should make very small lists of achievable tasks and then slowly build this up.
Perhaps you should look at what you've achieved in the morning before you feel low agai.perhaps you should try cbt that can work very well as long as you work hard at this and not expect this to work straight away

Welcome to this supportive community. As you have begun to see folks here are very willing to come along side and offer empathy and support, drawing from their own similar experiences.
Maybe it would be worth considering asking your GP about local community mental health services, to access some talking therapies such as CBT or CAT. These can help you identify why you have repeating thought patterns that affect your behaviour, that trigger a negative downward spiral. I know what you mean about having good intentions, and getting sucked into or trapped into old familiar traits that drag us down. I like what fidgety says, to maybe write a list of what you have achieved, and focus on the positives no matter how small or insignificant those achievements may seem.
