On day 6 if my increase to 150mg n having a bad day is this normal??

I was on 150mg for nearly a year and decreased it 2 months ago then last week had to up it should it take long

Iv recently up my dose age from 50 to 100 feeling pretty shite at the min hoping things settle down

Iv been on 10 weeks currently 2 weeks at the higher doseage so hoping will settle soon

Hello J2017, Thanks for your post and I hope that other members who are very supportive will come alongside of you and share their experiences. Sertraline like all medication can take us a little while to get used to an increased dosage. Try and give it time as it seems that your doctor thinks you need your dose increased. Usually as Sertraline is one of the newer type of antidepressant medication, it has fewer side effects than some of the older SSRI'S (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors). Please do not stop taking this drug without medical advice and perhaps see your doctor shortly to chat about how you are tolerating this new dosage. But give yourself a little time to see if you adjust to the increase and let us know how you are getting on. Keep posting too as there is so much support on this forum,.....best wishes to you.
