I'm new here. I live in Mongolia and it is very hard to get professional help in my country. So I diagnosed myself a depression. Recently I've been feeling so down and I decided to go somewhere and study there for at least 1 or 2 years. Is it helpful to going abroad when you are depressed or will it make it worse? Please help me?

Hello, welcome! I think it's really positive that you're looking for things to do and giving yourself things to look forward to. In planning for your trip, try to identify how you would seek support in the country where you are going if you become unwell with your depression? How do you manage your symptoms at the moment? it may give you comfort and confidence to know that you can get help abroad too. Good luck!
