Yesterday was a bad day. I was sacked from my job. Mistakes I made on my last project and my mood swings were enough to sack me. No warnings, verbal or written. Just straight termination. I dont really understand what's happened. I have been very unhappy the last month. Suicidal infact. I feel instead of sacking me, the company should of supported me. On a major downer right now. My major reason for getting up in the morning has gone. I'm close to completely throwing the towel in.

Bad day.
Maybe that job SteviePie just was not for you. As you did not get any warnings I am sure you can take them to a tribunal. This seems unfair dismissal to me. There is a better job for you around the corner
Talk to your GP if not already and get some help to talk out your fears and depression.
You could also have words with CAB because of instant dismissal. Where you still on probation ?. Normally when I was at work they got rid of us on the third warning, does that still stand ?. I have not worked for 3 decades and now a Pensioner.
If you are very low, Phone 111 NHS Helpline, they will triage and decide if you are at risk. They can contact your GP Practice or the Crisis Team

I'm not sure what the laws are in your country, but did you ever speak to your employers about your condition? Were they ever aware that at times, your symptoms may impact your work? did they try & give you a reasonable accommodation ? In the U.S. , that could have been an act of discrimination which is illegal & you could've brought them to court...
I've lost jobs due to illness . & at the time it felt soooo horrible, I shared the same thoughts you have now. After a while I was able to look back & see those environments were not conducive to my health, & that they actually did me a favor by letting me go. Usually our unhappiness at a job says it all. We get stuck due to a steady paycheck , or just settling for less than we really want or what's good for us.
I hope that you find a newer & better reason to get up in the morning. even if it's to just volunteer at a good cause while you get back on track, don't throw in the towel. There are better opportunities out there for you ,
I would definately take it further and see a lawyer this is unfair dismissal they can't get rid of you just like that, it's so in fair for you keep us posted, their loss, you deserve better
i was sacked last week for depression related gross misconduct. i am appealing as before that had a perfect record and depression is a disability under theDDA also management failed duty of care and let me work when should have sent me home
