what to expect after sterilisation

I'm 42 don't want kids but want to be free of contraception after 23 years so after many discussions with family planning and my doctor sterilisation was recommended so seeing a gynaecologist this month to book in to get sterilised I'm nervous about being knocked out and what to expect afterwards any advice thanks

Maybe try the Anxiety Support Site as they deal with anxiety type things. Have you looked online for any support Groups about Sterilisation Support?
