Hey everyone! This is mbvu again and I was the one who lost a horse at the rescue where I volunteer. I just wanted to let you all know that I've learned to move on and will obtain some of his mane in his memory. I will always miss him and will keep a place in my heart dedicated to him. I was able to let him go and am very happy with myself for that

So glad it went OK and you've moved on. It sounded by far the best thing for him and while you won't forget him its so important not to let these unfortunate experiences cloud your life.

A horse that once lived across from our stable is with us now. His owners weren't taking very good care of him and it was hard because we are renting out land from them. If we just took him, they could have kicked us out. Anyway he's with us now. I'm not sure if his people are boarding him or if they handed him over. Either way I'm glad he will be well cared for from now on.
I wish you well, a loss of a faithful pet or animal is just as bad, on occasions of loss of a close family member or friend.
Keep those happy memories you have gained, when you remember the loss. We do that when we remember pets we have lost in the past. These bitter, sweet memories help us cope with modern society ills

Thank you.
One of the horses that lived across the street from us is with us now. His owners weren't taking good care of him, but it was hard because we are renting their land so they could living a off if we just take their horse or call authorities. Either way he's with us now. I'm not sure if he's being boarded or if he's truly ours, but I'm happy he'll be well cared for from now on.
Ah that's great and I'm sure he is much better off, you have his memory and the bond you shared. Glad that your feeling a bit better.

That's really good and I'm glad you will have something with which to hold memories of him close to you XX
And you know what??? Because of this you have totally freed his spirit so that he can gallop away in joy and have fun knowing YOU are OK! I truly believe that!
Bless you for your loving heart.
