Hi. I've been dealing with depression for a while now and I just recently found this site and finally decided to make an account after acting like a phantom for the past couple days. I'll probably post some random thoughts of mine every now and then when I feel down and sometimes ask for advice. Hope everyone treats me ok.

I hope you find the site as helpful as many of us do , not least because it gives the chance to help and advise others ,which can be very rewarding .As most of us know the hell of depression, and the good side of it ,we are in a good position to help others.
The good side may sound strange but after a spell of depression ,normality seems wonderful , and for some of us who are lucky enough to get spells of hypomania , then life can seem much richer than normality , although I suppose there is always a risk of hypomania tipping over into full blown mania.
I'm sure everyone will treat you very well.
