Smiling is infectious,

You catch it like the flu.

When someone smiled

at me today, I started smiling too,

I passed around the corner,

and someone saw me grin.

When he smiled I realized,

I'd passed it on to him! I thought

about that smile, then I realized it's worth.

A single smile just like mine,

could travel round the Earth!

Most people will respond to a smile by smiling - it's a response that is hard wired in the brain. If it doesn't work then it usually means that the other person is either a) so short sighted that they can't see your face properly or b) isn't aware of their own emotional responses.

Glad you find it works for you.

Smiling is also supposed to produce physiological responses in your own body - including lowering blood pressure ...

So, good medicine all round.
