tight / contracted scrotum

hello all

I have an issue where my scrotum goes tight / contracts as if in cold water but cause is standing or activity not temperature.

What can cause this.

It all started to happen 4 months after a new partner. Not sure if related as partner has no issues and I have no issue with urination or discharge

think it’s about time you paid a visit to your doctor, no matter how embarrassing it may seem, they can check you over, and answer any questions you may have and put your mind at rest

Can an STI cause this or would something else be more likely?

I suspect that it is not related to an STI. However, it could be a number of other issues. Best to get checked out by a doctor in case it is something that needs active treatment. Do not just hope that it will go away.

I would get it checked out and see if everything is ok. Is it both testicles or just one? If there's any pain you should go be seen asap from what I understand. I saw there can be overactive cremaster muscle that can cause contractions. Maybe you could try wearing tighter underwear too. I would imagine a doctor would want to see you in person and order tests.

it’s my full scrotum that goes tight however when tight I get some discomfort around left testicle.

It only does it when standing or active. If I remain seated or lying down all is ok. Taking Ibrupofen seems to help

How did your Doctors visit go ?

Scrotum was not to tight during visit. Doctor did not think hernia and no swollen lymph nodes.

Typically my balls and penis are almost always moving shrinking growing, getting tight, loose, going up inside me, coming down and hanging. I don't know all the reasons why but some are temperatures, and activity, or the position ur in, ur body doesn't want big ol swinging balls when ur moving a lot due to injury so they're a lil tighter so they don't get hit. At least for me, at least what I think
