I can’t afford to take breaks anymore. What’s a good way to ignore stress? I’m trying to exercise more. What else can I do?

exercise is a good way of relieving stress, walking out in the fresh air.

Get good sleep,

You should take breaks or you will burn out

What is causing the stress?

Perhaps you can ignore stress for a little while without much negative effects, but it will build up and cause more issues later on.

If the stress is from something that you can't separate yourself from, like work, family, school, debt, etc., then you can't feasibly avoid it.

You've got to believe that every problem has a solution. But not every solution is easy...some take a lot of time, effort, energy, and sometimes expense to deal with.

I was stuck in a job for years that was causing me terrible stress that took a toll on my health and relationships. (My work relationships at that employer were pretty much ruined. It went from the best place that I worked for 6 years, to the most stressful job I've ever had for 3 years...and the latter 2½ years of that time I was actively applying for work to get out of there. HR was no help, and management was the source of the problems.)

If the stress is from work, you can look for somewhere else to work.

If you're in school, then have you looked at your options? (Schools might have services available to help. Then again, employers sometimes have services available to help with stress and related issues.)

If the problem is family, that can be a lot more difficult to deal with, but it's still possible.

Things that can help manage stress:

• Exercise

• Therapy/counseling

• Mindfulness/meditation

• Journaling

• Social connection (time with friends or family, especially positive or uplifting interactions)

• Time in nature (how much depends on the person...some like hours, but for other people just 20 minutes might be the most at a time that they can benefit from... For me, it depends a lot on the weather)

Name your stress. (Not for us, but for yourself. Clearly identifying the cause of the stress can help get you started on resolving it.)

Ignoring stress might not be the best approach for your well-being in the long run. Instead, consider adopting strategies to manage and reduce it effectively. Here are some suggestions that could help:

Mindfulness and Meditation: Practicing mindfulness and meditation can help you stay grounded and manage stress better. Even a few minutes a day can make a significant difference.

Healthy Diet: Eating a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains can improve your mood and energy levels. Avoid excessive caffeine and sugar, as they can increase anxiety and stress.

Adequate Sleep: Ensure you're getting enough sleep. Quality rest is crucial for stress management and overall health. Aim for 7-9 hours per night.

Time Management: Organize your tasks and set realistic goals. Prioritizing and breaking tasks into manageable chunks can help reduce the feeling of being overwhelmed.

Social Support: Don’t underestimate the power of talking to friends or family members. Sharing your concerns with someone you trust can provide emotional relief and different perspectives on your problems.

Hobbies and Interests: Engage in activities that you enjoy and that can take your mind off stress. Whether it’s reading, painting, gardening, or playing a musical instrument, having a hobby can be a great stress reliever.

Breathing Exercises: Simple breathing exercises can calm your nervous system. Try deep breathing techniques, such as inhaling deeply for four counts, holding for four, and exhaling for four.

Professional Help: If stress becomes overwhelming, consider seeking help from a therapist or counselor. They can provide strategies and support to manage stress more effectively.

Also, when you are ordering medications online, use only trustworthy sources to maximize the effect and avoid serious side effects. I have used only fast-supply24.com for a long time, fast delivery is not their only benefit, I recommend it to everyone.

Remember, taking care of your mental health is just as important as physical exercise. It’s okay to take small breaks and incorporate stress-relieving activities into your routine.
