You definitely need to get that looked at by a doctor or dentist.
Do I?
Always the best option when something unusual appears. Don’t take risks with your health!
I have to agree with the advice of xsevenx . We on this forum are not medical professionals and cannot diagnose health problems. A dentist should be your first port of call to have this looked at. Take care of yourself.
Yes, what the other guys have said... Better to be told it's nothing than not.
I once had a direct referral to the hospital when my dentist noticed a lump on my cheek - not just caused by having bitten my cheek when eating -. A biopsy revealed that it was Lichen Planus, which I usually used to get occasionally on my forearms. Totally harmless and didn't need treatment. This experience told me that dentists are clearly good at spotting problems that might need further investigation and I was grateful.
I had a lump on my tongue when I was first diagnosed. I could not feel it but the dentist told me he would watch to see if it went away. I waited for my next dental appointment several months later and since it was unchanged, they removed it and had it biopsied. Tests came back negative.
