Had a Lump in Scrotum for Over 2 Years But Could be 3yr

Hello I'm trying to reach out and I don't know what best forums to go on, but I'm looking for someone who could point me in the right direction or any men who've had the same experience as me who found out what it was so I have a good idea of what it most probably is apart from seeing my doctor who I'll still try to see. I've already seen my doctor you see and what it is is I have a lump in my scrotum that's about the size of a single grain of rice, but I couldn't find it just before I went to see him though still went. He couldn't find anything wrong and I did mention I've no libido, but he said nothing. Since then I've found it and thought it may have been because I was taking anti-inflammatories at the time as well as Yarrow Tea, but after months of taking that it's still there but thought maybe that's why I couldn't find it at the time. I'm in my early 40s and it was around 40 I noticed something in my scrotum, but passed it off then suddenly over night it's as if I have no urges or can get aroused. The best way to described it is you know like if you don't relieve yourself after so long then it feels tender to the touch well it's not there and basically can do without it altogether without it bothering me. Good if you don't want sexual frustration, but this happened at a time of me meeting someone and I wasn't able to perform. Any help please and thanks. Mark

Cant help with the libido problem, but I do have a fordyce rash, and one of these is a lump as big as a grain of rice. *May* be that (google it) though, my unmedically trained belief is there's usually more than one spot. I first noticed the rash when I was about 14, I'm 59 now, I only understood what it was about a year ago.Best of luck.

Thanks for your reply, Omniscient1. I've had a look but I don't think it's that because it's inside my scrotum. Should've also mentioned that I can only really get an erection if I'm stimulating it and even then it takes some effort compared to what it used to. That goes hand-in-hand to it being less sensitive to me. I've had a look around and it's similar to what's described in the below link, but I don't think it's Peyronie’s disease because there's no bend in it more than slightly. I feel I'd be seen as being selfish going the doctor again in the current climate but I don't think I am because I haven't really had much sex if you can call it that at all.

Thanks for your reply again, Omniscient1. I went at the beginning of the year and I'm changing my practice because they're accepting new patients. Just wish I'd of made sure I could find the lump before I went but I will this time. I've not been the doctors much over the course of my life so I don't think I can be accused of being a hyperchondriac and I've been in work for a while now not to say that anyone who hasn't doesn't have the right to see someone, but I'll go there in my work attire because new patients are given a health check appointment so I could bring it up then. I hope I'm being paranoid but I know I'm not about my problem. I'm hoping to go there next week to at least register there first after I've done all of my extra overtime I have to do and I'll let you know what the outcome is to this. Mark

best of luck. You remind me I had a small lump down there too ages ago (had forgotten) . The dr felt around and said it was nothing. Funny thing was she was a female dr, not an embarrassment problem, but she of course had no idea how sensitive it is down there...

I've not been the doctors yet (surprise, surprise), but I've found I can't always find the lump and because of that I think it's best I try to get to the bottom of it by process of elimination then it'll look as though I've done something as well as be taken seriously, that's the idea. To me it seems as though I have a numb penis and I'm sorry about the delay in getting back to you about where I'm at.

The 2 YouTube links seem just like I have except that I've had it or it abruptly got worse over 3 years ago and I haven't changed my diet. Also I don't think I masturbated that much to cause nerve loss but you know what they say if you don't use it you can lose it. In the first link I didn't know that there was such a thing as porn induced erectile dysfunction. I've used the process of elimination. I don't have Peyronie's disease because my penis isn't curved only slightly that I've always had and I don't have Phimosis as my foreskin isn't tight so the only other thing I can find that it could be is low testosterone. With that in mind I got some booster pills (below link) with the idea that while it'll still be low, there should be any improvement if it's that and while it's still bad, I do get a bit of pleasure out of cumming than I did before. It seems you can only be prescribed HRT.

It struck a chord with me when one of the guys said his penis shrivels up and that's how it feels to me after I've masturbated. The last link is about numb penises and their treatment is Sildenafil and Tadalafil, but they just seem the same as Viagra though I'll try it and see what happens. I've had 1 of the symptoms being a tingly sensation in the head of my penis after masturbation a few times in the past before all of this.

I'm surprised about younger men having this problem so it was good going for me and serves as a reminder of what I should've done; concentrated on life sooner as well as missed out on all the good sex I could've had when I was younger for a long time, wasted. I'd feel better if I could print out the above and give it to a doctor then I wouldn't have to say it then. I think that my anxiety should come first.
