I've been dealing with a tight foreskin for the past few years. Masturbating there's no pain but during sex there is. A few months ago after sex my foreskin got torn and I went to the doctor who prescribed me some steroid cream to stretch the skin out. It definitely made the skin loose but it was still a little tight but I thought that's what I was going to have to live with.
Fast forward a couple months and all of a sudden after sex one day I found out that the skin had become a lot tighter again. More recently it got torn again. The tightness is making ejaculation during sex basically impossible and it's really something I don't want to deal with.
In the case that I used the cream and it made things better but not 100% OK and then it reverted back to tightness and tearing, is that reasonable grounds to get circumcised? I realise it's a big decision that's irreversible but I want to move on with my life and not have to worry about this anymore.
Thanks!

If you do it, you’ll probably regret it the rest of your life. The fact that your foreskin is re-tightening is a sign of infection, most likely year. The steroid commonly used actually creates conditions condusive to infection. The solution now is to treat for yeast. There are creams sold OTC formulated precisely for this, and they’re highly effective. Even Athlete’s Foot cream can be used. Washing the penis, especially inside the foreskin, can also lead to yeast problems. You’ll stay sufficiently clean using plain water once a day.
In a week, the infection will normally be cured and you can begin simple manipulation of the foreskin opening to make it bigger. I’ve found that four five-minute sessions per day work best. If two fingers will fit inside, pull the opening apart gently and hold it. If it’s too tight, grasps the sides and gently pull apart.
Get back with any questions.
Have you tried the cream in conjunction with the multi sized silicone rings that stretch the skin? Try every option before you go down the mutilation
Mutilation! Pfft! I had same problem, had it for years tried alsorts. I was circumcised 5 weeks ago and must say the relief is fantastic. Mine was so tight from all the tears that the scar tissue made it even worse. It’s not mutilation if it fixes the problem. I’m fully healed now and in full working order I just wished I’d have gotten it done sooner. Yeah it takes time to adjust to the sensitivity of it but for me no pain at all now and it’s cleaner. Hope this helps you make your mind up but don’t listen to the scare mongers out there.
I had to have mine due to a possible cancer risk, options where limited and no real time to consider. I have to say I wish there had been an alternative. Sensation is not as good as before and I worry about causing damage by being 'over enthusiastic'.
It is not all bad, generally I do last longer, but if I lose my erection it is more difficult than before to get hard again. And my penis actually does look bigger !
