You don't say how long it is since your procedure or what was the advice of your doctor.

If you are only a short time post-op, then any masturbation risks tearing stitches (or glue?) The general rule is wait 6 weeks before any sexual activity.

wait at least six weeks is my advice. Then take it very easy, plenty of lube and patience.
