I'm 17 and got a circumcision 2 days ago due to phimosis. Before getting circumcised, I would masturbate nearly everyday, so it is already driving me crazy not being able to. I'm usually a really fast healer, so I've tried touching my penis head and it doesn't hurt much at all, but I am most worried about damaging the stitches below it. When should I be able to start going at it again ? I need to know because I am sexually frustrated and have been getting painful boners constantly throughout the day. Thanks in advance

I’m sure the surgeon or your urologist told you this before but you can’t masturbate for 6 weeks.
The road is long and I’m in the same boat as you so Good luck.
If you do it too soon like let’s say after a month you will damage the scar line and slow down or hurt the healing process. I would try thinking about something else.
It’s a really annoying surgery but you only have to go through it once... hang in there..
I know, it's really tough and it's only just started for me. Just out of curiosity, when does urinating become easier? Ever since the surgery it's been more difficult than usual to pee.
Yeah same here, my doc told me my urine would spray and kinda go everywhere but it shouldn’t last more than a couple of days to two weeks max... it’s because of the swelling.
I’m on day 7 post op today and my piss still goes everywhere (even backwards) lmao so I hope by next week it will be better..
You should be ok when the stitches come out. Just be gentle, focusing upon stimulating just the glans. If your frenulum was excised, your meatus is probably distorted from swelling. Try 15 min ice pack applications. As swelling goes down, peeing should straighten out. Sometimes using a thumb and finger to spread the little lips will correct the spraying.
I've tried opening the lips when peeing and it's been fairly comfortable for me. Ice packs might help to stop my penis from getting hard all the time, thanks for the advice. I'm not entirely sure if my frenulum was removed or not, how do you tell?
If the frenulum was removed, generally there will be a row of stitches running vertically, parallel with the shaft. However with extremely high circumcisions, this may not show, meaning it’s highly likely it was removed.
My meatus is very swollen and I was told it might be from frenuloplasty. I don’t know why but the guys who posted pics of their penis are very lucky because they seem to be dealing with the stitches like everyone else but they don’t have anything going on with the head. I don’t know why mine is so painful and swollen I even got two blisters on each side of of my meatus due to the compression gauze that was put on too tight. I feel like my healing is very slow and I’m really down and depressed about it
I was told four weeks recovery, but I first masterbated after two weeks. I was healed pretty well and I think recovery time vastly differs - but don’t rush it.
As with all others 6 weeks Bud, I know it's hard pardon the pun, but if you do it too soon then there is risk of bleeding I found not drinking after 10pm at night helps with night time erections.
It’s day 8 for me and there’s no way I could masturbate today or even in a couple of days from now. It’s still swollen, sensitive and very painful around the meatus and frenulum so I don’t know how that’s possible for some of you guys.
Kosmic101, this person is an anti-circumcision activist. He likes to spread his ideas here all the time. He likes to make you feel guilty for your decision, even though it was a medical one. I chose to ignore him...
My situation is very similar to yours, though I could masterbate okay but never exposed the head - and this became an issue during sex or with my partner. Hygiene was also a factor as well - so my circumcision was not done on a whim! In fact it took years before I faced it head on (excuse the pun!) and did it.
Best thing I ever did though. It will feel different and masterbation did need lube when I first started but interestingly enough, more recently now it’s totally healed I haven’t needed to. But even if you do, who cares? Embrace it (as it sounds like you are) and you’ll never look back.
Hahaha. I really don't understand that, how can someone be against something that is personal choice (Yes I am aware the majority of circumcisions are cultural, however it's has health benefits in the long run (reduced chance of HIV and thrush as there is no skin for moisture to be trapped under)). Like aswell, my brother had megaprepuce (meaning his penis was basically inside his body), so was he just expected to live with that, a fricking piss pipe his while life. Hahaha
Same here brother. Circ at 39 my foreskin was fine most of my life but started shrinking I guess. Lol. Could only cover about 20-30% of my head when erect and masturbation even for a few min or sexual activity would leave my foreskin inflamed and irritated for 2-5days even after just a few min of masturbation. Sometimes my foreskin would have like cuts from the friction I guess. So I got circ 2 weeks ago. Only regret is it looks like I got a low and tight circ I wish I got a high and tight circ. I didn't know there was dif kinds, I thought they were all high and tight. But as long as it heals up nice. But I do wish it was high and tight. :/
drink neuroleptics while sleeping so not to get boners because its gonna bruise it up and mess stitches up. also as long as you dont touch it the scar will be okay but if you do touch it and stretch it even once then youre gonna get scarred
Well, if you grab the lowest point of your organ, you perhaps could stimulate an orgasm by masturbating lower on the penis, using the foreskin as the tube, there is less friction, and I find if my skin around the tip is sore, or the skin around the head, this method of shaft-stroking, causes for less-painful rubbing while still getting comprable stilulus
