join Fertility Network UK's men only groups to talk to other guys about how you are feeling. Stigma and societal pressures can often prevent men from speaking about their fertility.. whether it's male factor or not, feelings of worry, sadness and anger are common. We need to talk about fertility! Watch Rhod Gilbert's Stand up to infertility programme and get in touch with Fertility Network UK to get support, and to help other men who are going through something similar. bbc.co.uk/programmes/p09410jc

Good 'plug' - thank you. I was lucky and had no trouble conceiving our son and daughter, (with help from my wife, of course), then got a vasectomy. However, our son, who has Type I diabetes did have trouble and had to have several rounds of fertility treatment with his wife, eventually producing our delightful singleton granddaughter. I watched Rhod's tv programme and he was admirably honest and engaging. It's a worthy campaign. Men need to talk more about these things.
