Brother in need, websites for helplines through email?

Hi. I am a brother to someone I dont understand. His mental health is deteriorating and becoming more scary to me. He is unlike any other typical case of depression that I have seen online, although I know all are unique, and most advice from pages such as the NHS website have been irrelevant and have failed when I try to connect with him. The main advice is to start a conversation, but how can I do that when he screams and pushes me out the door of his room when I try to talk to him. My question is: I know recently that mens mental health globally is becoming more of a problem with coronavirus, and I know there are a lot more threatening cases than my brother's; but, does anyone have any websites for helplines that I could email, or should I try and get him to a therapist, if he will even come? Thank you.

If you are in the UK, you and/or he might like to phone Samaritans on 116123 or email at jo@samaritans.org. There are other organisations that may be able to help too - Google (other search engines are available) BACP (bacp.co.uk) and/or MIND (mind.org.uk).

It sounds as if your brother is in an unhappy place - he might just welcome some help if you can find a way to get the information to him. Sorry, no easy answers.

Just being there for him is a help, tell him if and when he is ready to talk you will be there for him.
