It is certainly a big issue and, in relation to Type 2 Diabetes, lifestyle can play a huge role in the condition developing.

Hi,

Do you know anyone who manages a Type 2 condition? What do they do that works well for them?

I have been living with Type Two Diabetes for 22 years. From the very beginning I removed obvious sugary food from my diet (cake, sweets, biscuits, desserts, fruit juices etc). I also greatly reduced my intake of simple carbs (rice, pasta, below ground vegetables, non-granary bread etc). This has enabled me to achieve an HbA1C in the fives and low sixes.
