Well actually I have a great app on my phone, which accurately calculates the heart rate. I even compared it to the heart rate taken at the doctors office and it was spot on. Here is the link for this great app. I’ve had it for many years.

No reason why it cannot be done for cvd as the doctor doesn't need to see the patient as they depend on test results to make a diagnosis
