I am on warfarin since 3 years. Before my heart surgery I had a fistula surgery near the opening of my anus. It has again come up near the same spot and it bleeds during defecation. My surgeon is hesitant to operate due to warfarin. Any suggestions. I am really worried. Sueed

I thought fistula were treated using a Seton suture which is a minimally invasive procedure ? and you could be switched to heparin for a short period for this ?
