Just about a month ago I realized a large white spot in the middle of my tongue and it kept taking over to more and more of my tongue. I’m worried of what it might be I’m not sure if it’s geographic tongue (because it’s linked to psoriasis which I do have) but recently my mouth began to turn kind of yellow with the veins pretty visible I thought it could be caused by acid reflux but now I looked a tiny my throat again and it looks like I have a type of wart in the back of my throat. Any ideas of what it could be?

Hi, this could have various explanations, but you MUST see your doctor ASAP! Please don't be alarmed because it is highly likely to be treatable, but request an emergency appointment tomorrow morning so this can be diagnosed and treated straight away. I don't think it is linked to your psoriasis, but it could be something as simple as oral thrush that's developed and increased in severity over time. The dentist or hygienist is not the correct avenue to take, so GP in the first instance; they might well take swab cultures and depending on the results, commence a treatment plan or refer you to an ENT consultant. Let me know how it goes!
It could be an oral thrush caused by the Candida fungus. To be sure you should see your dentist or physician to diagnose it. Oral thrush usually causes white tongue, tiny bumps and a bad taste in the mouth. Sometimes, it can be painful.
