Hello, I'm 21 and have just yesterday had my circumcision - I've had extreme phimosis since birth.
I'm just curious about what to expect the following few weeks? I understand that the average waiting period for the hypersensitivity to die off is somewhere between 2-3 weeks or so. Is there any tips on how to make the transition go by smoothly?

Just keep the area clean. At the moment try just bath it softly and dont be harsh with it. Try wearing tight underwear and you should be okay. When going for a pee, i just sat down for a while untill it was healed. Hope your not in too much pain and it all goes smoothly
I was circumcised 3 years ago and would never want to go back. Absolutely love it !
You really need to stop. Just because it isn’t a decision you would make doesn’t mean other people can’t. For some it’s highly necessary! I tried all your stretching methods and it didn’t work so circumcision was the best decision I could’ve made, and I’m sure this guy is the same! I understand encouraging if someone asks your opinion before getting it done, yes share that there are other options because I agree people should try, but once the operation has been done you just make people feel like crap by coming on and bashing the decision they’ve most likely had to make for different reasons!
Keep it clean, be gentle with it. Tight underwear. The sensation will get less in time. Well done on having it done. I have never regretted it and you won’t. Just be patient. Salt baths are good. It will soon heal and you will love it. Negative views are to be ignored, they do not know the joy that it brings. My wife loves it
I mean it was the only option I had left and it's not like the lack of sensation means much to me anyway. You sound like you have personal misgivings about the procedure, which is ok, but please don't try to be snide when others ask for advice pertinent to their own decisions.
