Left little toe pain

I am run cross country and right after changing and before beginning I had this pain in my left little toe that worsens as I walk, even if I attempt to walk on the other side of my foot(to avoid using the toe). I find that it doesn’t hurt much at all when I run. I can think of no possible cause for this pain, and there is no appearant difference in how my toe compared to my right little toe, and pressing my toe does not hit except a little when pressing the toe down and trying to lift it up.

Maybe you have an ingrown toe nail or something? Post a picture of it?
