I am infected!! 12 day PO Pic

Hi guys, following my concern over a lump I was cleaning my incision and noticed a small white lump popping out from between my wound between the 2 stitches & just where the lump is, it looked like a spots white head so I obviously wondered what to do, with that my phone rang & it was my doctors surgery telling me the swab taken on wednesday had came back indicating infection and that I have to pick up flucloxicillan tomorrow. Guess that explains the lump, had no pain or fever with it though, just the lumpy swelling about the size of a pea. Obviously now I'm concerned this white head will separate my incision 😞

Yeah I thought the lump was a bit odd as it seemed too localised to be swelling. I'm picking up the antibiotics at 8am tomorrow so hopefully that'll sort it out, so bloody annoying as it was doing well up until this!

least you got to the source of it buddy that's the main thing! I'm sure everyone comes across some form of setback along the way

Yeah thanks dude, I'm glad too, just to warn people not to be afraid to get things checked out. Because I had no pain, pus or fever I almost didn't bother going to the doctor.
