Into my 11th day today & a few of my stitches either dissolved or fell out yesterday, I found a couple in my dressing so that may be why I feel a sense of of relief from down there.
The lump I mentioned yesterday on the top of my penis is still there although hopefully nothing to worry about as my GP wasn't concerned. Been keeping up with my salt baths, applying vasaline to incision line/stitches & dressing with a strip of gauze. Best thing is that my nocturnal erections have been awful since around day 3 but last night I woke up for a wee & realized I had an erection! Barely any pain or discomfort which was brilliant, managed to actually get some decent sleep too which is a bonus. The cut line still looks a little tender but it's actually feeling better than it looks. Just hope I'm through the worst now & want to let others know that I was really low at several times but now I can see that things are improving & not to get too down about it, after all it's a very traumatic operation on our most prized possession!!

Glad to hear it's going well mate! I'd say it looks good and that now most the stitches are beginning to go that the healing process will get easier and slightly quicker!!!
Mine are slowly tugging and the odd one has fallen out for me personally too!
Good to hear mate, I think basic common sense is what is best when caring for it, keeping it clean with short salt baths, letting it air dry, dressing it when you feel the need to & applying a little vasaline to stop the stitches going hard, I think that was the cause behind the painful erections, obviously if the stitches are soft they will give a little instead of feeling like cheese wire! I also snipped some of the longer ends of the stitches off so that they weren't prickling my bell end! Still a long way to go & it's worrying that people still talk of infection weeks down the line but I guess all we can do is keep a nice clean routine.
With the salt baths, if it's only for a very short duration of time does it matter whether the stitches enter the bath or no? Giving you dry it proper etc?
I think personally
I need to apply Vaseline there as the stitches are strangling me now aha! And I hate it when they point out and cause discomfort elsewhere
I honestly don't know mate, I'm assuming it was, I've seen various techniques online but I have no idea what mine was. Should've asked really but didn't think to, couldn't see any info on my notes afterwards either.
As for the vaseline, there is no point in putting vaseline on the incision site. I mean there is an ongoing debate whether to use "dry" healing or "wet" healing as there are different theories to both, but basically, the vaseline serves as an antifriction when using a gauze for the penis glans.
Unless obviously you have the gauze sticking to the incision part or the stitches for some reason. If you don't have that issue, then just use the vaseline on the penis glans, not the incision part itself.
Hi mate, it's actually going pretty well now (touch wood)
The first 10 days were pretty painful on occasions and uncomfortable plus I was constantly worried! Now much of the scabbing has gone & it's much less sensitive. Still have a pea sized lump below my incision line but I'm thinking that's just swelling. How far PO are you? Just looking forward to being fully healed now.
I have a mini lump towards the back end but below my stitch line too, it came about a few hours after my salt bath yesterday evening, doesn't hurt just not ideal either
Yeah I'm a little annoyed about the lump just because it looks pretty good apart from that, well as good as a penis can look 😂😂 You have a good night's sleep or not?
Totally on the same wavelength, my stitches are slowly loosening now and I thought finally some tidy progress for an eventual final ideal look and that hideous thing comes outta no where 😂it don't hurt though just a huge inconvenience!!! And not really bro because I'm letting myself sleep naked on my back which is never great! How about you?
