Ok so i just got circumcised on wednesday which was 4 days ago. I was wondering is it normal to have this much swelling after 4 days? It is about the size of a golf ball maybe a little bigger. And also, Is it normal for it to be so dark between incision and head or could it be infected? Two days after the procedure i made the mistake of taking 2 aspirins at 10am and 2 more at about 2:30 pm and that caused it to bleed alot. Do you think the aspirins have something to do with it being so swollen? I still wrap it up in tissue because of small drops of blood, should i stop wrapping it? And one more question, does it look like its gonna be a normal circumcision not too loose or not too tight? I am gonna wash it for the first time today. I can post another picture if it helps answering the question. Lol sorry for so many questions im just a curious 16 year old and i love my member so i want it to be perfect. Thanks!

It doesn't look normal to me. Swelling is just too much! Have you contacted your surgeon?
I called her the day i took the aspirins and told her about the bleeding and swelling according to her its normal but she hasn't seen it since the surgery, do you think it swelled so much because of the aspirins i took and u think it could be infected or something?
Something wrong contributed to swelling. U have to wait and take advice of your doctor. However the circumcision looks ok
I think it was the aspirins that made it swell so much because i dont recall it swelling until i took them, and would you believe it if i told you it was WAY bigger than that, almost like a fucking tennis ball. I was scared as hell. You think i should call her again? I start school tuesday and i dont think i can go with it looking like that
Also, i school starts tuesday for me but i doubt i can go like that. I have been leaving it in an upright position, should i try putting it down without the tissue?

There can be so many things like granuloma, papiloma or so. Only surgeons know. You should take their opinion directly. I hope this is treatable - may need time

That looks like It's far too swollen mate and your frenulum looks like it's being stretched by it, go to a surgical assessment centre immediately, I hope it gets better soon
Hi as the other have put up. U need to be seen most areas have Drs on 24 hours a day ( not sure what area you live in) I would only take aspirin if your drs say you can as it makes blood less sticky
I live in chicago and the procedure was done at rush university, i called the hospital and the operator said only thingr she can do is leave my number and see if she returns my call. I really hope she is in today, maybe i can show her that picture
Bro that’s not right defo go doctors, I got mine done about 3 months ago and it’s still really sensitive, feels bad🤦♂️

That's is exactly how mine looked 2-3 days after my circumcision (which I had done 2 months ago). I had an infection, and the next day went to my GP who prescribed antibiotics. Two days later it was worse, I called NHS 24, went to an out of hours clinic (2am) and was referred to another hospital with a urology department immediately - I was kept in overnight and they operated the next day to remove the infection/clear it out.
My advice to you is to go to A&E tonight and tell them you are worried. Do not delay as it will only get worse, trust me as I have been there.

Sorry, I'm from the UK and A&E is Accident and Emergency, it's where you go when you need immediate treatment. My infection had turned into an abscess, so they opened up some of the stitches and cleared it out - they left a gap for drainage. They may not need to do anything to you, just give you some strong antibiotics.
You will be fine, and it will heal, but you really need to seek treatment as soon as you can. I don't think you will be able to go to School in the next two days though - it will probably take longer to heal.
Thanks again so much for the info, i have some old antibiotics for incase a gum infection, do you think i should take those hold out until tomorrow and go to emergency room because i really dont have a ride right now. Or should i just hold out until tomorrow without taking anything or just go today?
I wouldn't take the old antibiotics as I don't think they will do any good. They will normally take a swab of the infection and do a lab test which will tell them the type of infection and the best antibiotics to treat it. I would try and go today, but if you really can't then go first thing tomorrow.

Don’t take the antibiotics you have. I think the consensus is to go to ER for an assessment as soon as you can - certainly before Tuesday.
Please go to ER. Strong antibiotics as soon as possible. Bad infection, be ok with treatment. Good luck
It might be caused by aspirins because those medicines make blood thinier so normal that you got some bleeding. About the size, might be that the doctor has sew every part of the skin, so the extra liquid going there by the veins does not have where to go. But visit a doctor as soon as possible.
I think your "Guys do try and think when you answer" and "please read and think" pretty offensive and sanctimonious. I didn't know where the OP was from (could be anywhere), if somebody is unsure what A&E means they can ask for clarification or google it. I didn't realise you had to be on holiday to post on here, especially when it's pretty obvious the OP has just had an operation and wouldn't be at work or school anyway.

The doctor said the swelling is fine, it actually has went down alot but now i have another problem i think. I called the doctor and she said its ok but i think she only said that because she didnt see it. A couple of the stitches came apart two days ago and the skin is detatched for about a inch and some change where the stitches were. There is dried blood inbetween the two sections of skin where the stitches were what should i do about that? My mom is really no help because she doesnt want to keep taking me back to the hospital but i think that blood should be removed and im afraid to do it my self. Should i make another post with the picture? There is dried blood around majority of the incision line.
I am still afraid that you might have infection. In worst case this might be really dangerous. You should go to emergency room to show this to a real doctor. Don't risk the health of your penis by delaying this.

and also ~you never mentioned what pain you had immediately after the op - i am keen to get reports of how the pain is as that s what i fear most.
