8 days after circumsion and need advice/answers please!

Hey I'm on day 8 and still have bruising and swelling... most of all swelling is near the stitches but the stitches are covered by extras skin from the swelling I can easily pull the skin down to expose the head in all its glory but it feels tight around my head cause of the swelling and it's rather hard in 1 spot... its day 8 and I wouldn't say pain! But I can feel the almost pressure from swelling and I'm getting nervous please anyone got advice?

Hi mate, the swelling won't go down for weeks and the tightness could be dependent on how tight the stitches are, if you start to feel a really right feeling that doesn't go away you need to go to the doctor's or your hospiti where you had it done, do you still have yellow gunk around some parts of it? And fluid?

Yeah I still have alittle bit of discharge but nothing bad, I have one spot left of my frenulum that still kind of has fluid and discharge almost as if it's not healing at the same pace... is it common to almost have the illusion of extra skin due to the swelling? I cant see the cut unless I pull back which isnt painful but isnt fun either... almost when flaccid looks like half a circumsion cause again swollen skin rides over the cut and onto the head of the penis... cause for conearn? Or just need more time? Thanks mate

Yeah that's normal mate I am on day 7 right now and I have the same as you, under the glands where the frenulum is it's the most sensitive and complex part, you've got the foreskin trying to heal aswell as the frenulum and it's always getting less air so it take a lot longer to heal compared to the top

You have the same issue with swelling and looking like extra skin was left?

Yeah mate, until the circumcision is completely healed you won't know what it looks like properly, only thing to worry about until it heals is infection and if you show any signs of that just go doctors and they'll give you anti biotics which will sort it. Circimcision is a very uncomfortable and painful process.

Yeah reply to me at anytime mate, I'm constantly worried sick with it even though I know is the answers lol, it has a physiological toll on you and you need reassuring and knowing someone else is going through the same helps! Follow me and I'll follow you mate

It's all normal, it's a very difficult time I went through the same thing be patient it will all heal in about 30 days

Only you have to give time and apply antibiotic cream for few days

That one spot with hardness is some fibrous tissue that developed. After about your 8th week, that hardened tissue should soften and flex itself back to normal tissue. Mine's did!

I'm on day 12 and its swollen but the bruising is almost all gone it still feels alittle sore sometimes and morning erections still hurt.. almost all the swelling is still focused at the area with stitches

It seems any time we have to mess with our member, it cause anxiety. ha. My doc told me it'll take 6 mos to a year for the penis to settle in. I'm going on 6 months and I still have a band where the stitches were but I'm pretty much back to normal function. Be patient and try not to play with it too much your first couple of months. It's hard not to, I know, but it'll be fine. Cheers!
