Post circumcision

It’s been7 days since I went and got circumcised. My penis is extremely sensitive and I’m worried that it might be infected.

It looks normal to me. The hyper sensitivity is part of the healing. After a couple of weeks it will be fine!

If you were prescribed antibiotics then infection can mot be a problem. Even if you have not taken antibiotics, it look fine. Just clean it with hydrogen peroxide and try to keep him smooth and dry. Sensitivity will dissapear in 2 or 3 weeks. Wish you the best ☺

I was circumcised 9 weeks ago and had an infection in the first week which resulted in an abscess which required further surgery. You say it doesn't smell great but that could just be dried lymph fluid; trust me, if it's infected the pus smells revolting and you would definitely know about it! It looks normal to me.

A bad smell from the wound could be an infection but more likely you just need to give it a quick wash.

Warm salt water seems to be the preferred method.
