This was taken the night before my procedure. You can quite clearly see the tightened ring of the foreskin.

man, what a difference. be interesting to know what the new uro says. keeps us updated dude.
I will. At this point in time I'd say this is about the worst thing I've done including the ex-wife.
lol!! im glad you've got your sense of humor! i got mine done 8 days ago now, i got to the point where i couldnt retract it when either flaccid or erect.
Had being the operative term. I wasn't even given the option of stretching. I was just told to remove the foreskin. When flaccid the ring sat above the glans so I thought it'd be a minimal op.
Damn dude, that doc really fucked you up. I hope you can find a fix brother
Wow! This is really bad! Considering this could have been easily fixed in a month or 2 by proper stretching, did the doctor recommend stretching first? Because this is quite a mild case of phimosis.
No stretching recommended at all. Took one look and said it needs to be circumcised.
Thats terrible! I’m sure you should be able to sue him for giving you false information + the botched circumcision. Im really sorry this happened and I hope you can get it fixed, but you should definitely get the police involved or at least notify the health centre you went to, to prevent this from happening again!
Best of luck!

Here in Australia it is very difficult to sue a doctor. The club bands together as it were. The problem is getting another doctor to say what another doctor did was wrong. But this is very obviously wrong. As a journalist I'm going to use my experience to write something about this experience as a warning to others. Some good needs to come from it. But my trust in doctors, which has never been high, is now in tatters.
I see what happened. Your tight band was lower on the shaft than the usual phimosis. Your surgeon probably just thought he ought to remove that band, even though it wasn't really on the foreskin itself, but turned out to be the bulk of the skin on your shaft. I'll bet the surgeon never saw you hard, and just assumed he could remove all that skin. My sincere apologies that happened. You should sue the guy. It was clearly negligent.
As to recovery, it may take a while, but I'll bet with continuing stretching exercises, you can have your full seven inches back. Think of those people in third-world cultures that put disks in their lips, or do other things to their bodies that ultimately end in huge growths of skin. Or think of all the people who have become hugely obese. Their skin stretches. You just have to be diligent about doing the exercises every day, and have lots of patience.

Actually just viewing it, it seems to me than the band was on the foreskin, it seems that he was pulling back the foreskin so it may appear lower, the doctor who told him to go for a circumcision was dreadfully wrong, stretching would of loosened this up very easily and very fast.
But you should definitely try to sue him
Hi, I was circumcised as an infant and I still have this tight band on my shaft that looks similar to the OP. I was circumcised as an infant. Is it possible that they cut off the redundant skin, but somehow I kept the phimotic ring?
As an infant you shouldn't have had phimosis though it is the usual justification for the procedure. It's most probably scar tissue that has caused the ring. Stretching gently over time should help that.
Interesting. I do have this small remnant that must be a small part of the ridged band on the ventral side of my penis, that is attached to my frenulum. Also I definitely have sensation in this part, which is interesting lol.
Also, this makes complete sense because I developed a trapped penis as a result of circumcision. I had this cicatrix scar. I started to do foreskin restoration and the tugging has helped solve the complications of my circumcision. They removed to much skin from my penis, so I had painful erections. I am just so happy to have an erection that is no longer painful. I am continuing to tug until the head of my penis will be partially covered. This was the type of circumcision I wanted, but unfortunately my parents failed to do any research.
That tightness could easily have been fixed by proper stretching
I did. But aren't we supposed to trust our doctors? And information on the internet isn't always reliable. It's not a mistake I'll make again.
I'm pretty sure that's what happened to me. Because it is considered an elective surgery it's not covered by our universal health care. So it's a nice little earner.
I am sorry to hear what happened to you. I was circumcised as an infant and my circumcision looks just like yours. I was trying to figure out how it happened considering I was an infant when it happened. My erections were painfully tight. I have been doing foreskin restoration. You should try it as well. What I want to understand is, how does a circumcision end up looking like this?
