I'm 4 weeks post op now. Click in my name to see the posts I made through my journey if it helps.

There's lots of similar Posts on here if you search.

Hope all goes well for you.

After 4 weeks I'm now happy with the feel and appearance.

I got circumcised in December and it was the second week that was the most unpleasant but what really helps is getting gauze’s they’re the same dressings you use for burns and then put lots of Vaseline on it and put that in your underwear.

It’ll make walking around a lot more comfortable!

Good luck and I hope everything goes well!

Had my operation exactly 3 weeks ago and feel no pain when walking and all looks good. Took the bandages off the next day as advised, everything was very sensitive then. I found it best to wear tight fitting underwear so there was little or no movement. Also stayed inside pretty much the whole week. After 7days I went back to work and apart from being a little sensitive all was fine. After 2 weeks I was walking pretty much as normal, with light sensitivity. All in all it wasn’t as tough as I had expected.

The operation itself was done under local anaesthetic and apart from some discomfort while they injected me, I didn’t feel a thing. From going into a he room to leaving the hospital was about an hour.

So not too much to worry about.

Make sure you talk to your doctors about everything, I had a secondary procedure completed against my informed consent. Which has left me with a marked reduction in sensitivity.

For the first 3-5 days it’s uncomfortable as fuck I had mine 2 weeks ago but after it it’s fine I’m still waiting for my stitches to dissolve and everything is looking okay but a tip is when you go out put vassaline on the glans so it’s not as uncomfortable touching to things that’s what I did and it’s okay you get used to it quicker

I’m getting Circumsised in 3 days, I will only have 4 days, (5 including the day of the procedure) to recover and then I have to go back to work. How were things for you on day 5? My job does require some walking / moving however 90% of it is just sitting down at a desk. I’ve already bought gauze and vasaline, is there anything else I need to be prepared for?

Most of it’s preparing mentally. For me I was fine to work after a week but the hardest part for me was not getting erections while sitting down. It helped to tuck my dick downwards as the underside was the most sensitive. It held if you wrap some sort of Neosporin or vasiline with gauze when the initial wrap comes off so that way the stitches don’t catch onto your underwear which is extremely uncomfortable. Good luck after 2 weeks it’s finally worth the initial discomfort.

I had mine done 2 weeks ago and i have just started pulling out most of the stitches. I would recommended trying to desensitize your head as much as you can if you haven’t already as for that will be super uncomfortable. I took a week off work which was plenty of time and after about 8 days I was fully back to normal. Things are looking good right now just have 5 stitches out of like 20 left intact.
