Open stitches after circumcision

Hello. Anyone who has had circumcision stitches 1 or 2 open and still the wound healed nicely please share your experience. I am in that predicament day 10 after opp and the doctor recommended that it will heal by secondary intention(whatever that means).

Cheers

If i were you i would check on the doctor, even though its healed. If it doesnt bleed than its not necessary to go to the surgeon.

Thank you. Its not bleeding no pain so far no infection I am applying a certain antibacterial eye ointment that I was given the day I had the opp. Open stitches healing how long does that take.
