Tadalafil shortage

My local Pharmacy is currently unable to dispense my prescription as they currently cannot source it and don’t know when new stock will come in. Anyone else have the same problem?

picked up some 2 weeks ago. do you get 1 month at a time?

I get 2 months on repeat.

I only get 1 month on repeat. Thinking back to Mrs O's experience during the Great HRT shortage it seems nothing like that.

Update, picked up current months supply yesterday. No issue or comment at the pharmacy.

Sorry to hear that! It's frustrating when pharmacies can't get the meds we need, and the uncertainty makes it even worse.

there's several alternatives, can you get prescribed one of them?

I’m taking 5mg daily for symptoms of an enlarged prostate. The alternatives are not licensed for that in the UK.

What about flomax or similar med for now? What does your doc recommend?

Thanks. I’m already taking FloMax/Tamsulosin. The Tadalafil was added after 12 months as the initial improvement with Tamsulosin was wearing off. The T and T combination was working well for me. 3 days without the Tadalafil and I am starting to notice a reduction in flow. ☹️

I didn't think think tadalafil was approved for bph, as it was 'unpriven' am I wrong??

I'm in the US and the drug shortages have been insane here too! Are there any mail order pharmacies that can get it at all? The patients here have to call round to find it then send the script and they have to run out to get it before someone else. Can your doctor help with it at all?

have you tried Dr Fox online pharmacy? I take 5mg daily and have been getting of them for years delivered to your door, totally reliable.
